These terms govern your use of the ndts.gov.ng website and your participation in Nigeria Disability Tech Summit (NDTS) programmes, including registration, partnership, sponsorship, volunteering and the startup showcase. This is a template and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before publication.
By accessing this website or applying to any NDTS programme, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or apply to our programmes.
You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use this site on behalf of an organisation. Specific programmes carry their own eligibility requirements, for example a minimum age of 18 (with limited exceptions for students aged 16 and above with parental consent) to volunteer, and functioning-prototype requirements to apply to the startup showcase.
Registration for the summit is subject to availability and any applicable fees stated at the time of registration. Refund and transfer policies, where applicable, will be stated on the registration page.
Submitting a partnership or sponsorship inquiry through this site does not create a binding agreement. Partnership and sponsorship arrangements, including tier benefits and payment terms, are finalised through a separate written agreement between you and NDTS.
Submitting a volunteer application does not guarantee a placement. Selected volunteers will be asked to confirm additional commitments, including availability for orientation and summit days, before their role is finalised.
Applications to the startup showcase are reviewed against the eligibility and judging criteria published on the Startup Showcase page. Submission of an application does not guarantee selection as a finalist or the award of any prize. Full showcase rules will be provided to shortlisted applicants.
The NDTS name, logo and website content are the property of NDTS or its licensors and may not be used without permission. Content you submit through this site, such as an application or pitch, remains yours; by submitting it, you grant NDTS a licence to use it for the purpose of evaluating and, where applicable, promoting your participation in the relevant programme.
All participants in NDTS programmes and events are expected to treat others with respect and dignity, consistent with the summit's mission of inclusion. We reserve the right to remove or refuse participation to anyone whose conduct is disruptive, discriminatory or unsafe.
This site may link to third-party websites or include third-party content, such as partner logos or embedded media. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy or accessibility of third-party sites.
This website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. NDTS is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or participation in our programmes, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of this site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the "last updated" date above whenever changes are made.
If anything in these terms is unclear, reach out and we'll be glad to help.
